The registration to one of our courses implies that you accept the modalities and general conditions of registration under-mentionned (*).

|  General Terms and Conditions |
| Pre-enrolment and Enrolment | To enroll, the minimum age is 18 (16 with a parental consent).
Before booking, please be sure that you can take part in our courses, for instance that you have your entry and visa requirements. The school can not be held responsible for embassy or consulate refusal to issue or extend your visa.
Please fill out the Pre-enrolment form and send it by mail, fax or email to Logos.
On receipt, Logos will will send you an acknowledgment of receipt of your demand.
In order to book your accomodation, you will pay by bank transfer a deposit of 25% on accomodation AND 45 € for the tuition fees.
You will have to send us a copy of your bank transfer by mail, email or fax (don't forget to mention your name on the bank transfer and make sure that you have paid all bank charges involved).
As many students choose to come to Nice, you have to pay the deposit as soon as possible, at the latest in the 3 days following our confirmation (1) and send us a copy of the bank transfer. Logos cannot be held responsible for a late receipt.
At receipt of your instalment, we confirm by email (or letter) your enrolment.
And you will also receive information about your stay (address of your accomodation, outgoing permission for under age students, town map, time you have to come to school the first day.
(1) For a booking made less than 35 days before stay commencement, the instalment must be paid immediately and of copy of it has to be sent to us.
IMPORTANT
For under age students, the application form has to be signed by the parents or the legal tutor. It has to be sent along with the parental consent form.
VISA
The Nationals of the European Union don't need a visa. For other nationalities, a tourist visa will be delivered by the French Embassy in your country (except for special conventions) for any stay up to 3 months. For a longer stay you need a student visa.
For any further information, you should visit the Web site www.diplomatie.gouv.fr or contact us.
All students having obtained a visa for entry in France must attend the course. No refund can be paid for non-attendance.
If the visa isn't issued, you have to cancel your pre-enrolment. To do so, your return request and the original certifate must be sent back to us at least 35 days before the beginning of your stay. The instalment of 25% on the accomodation will be refunded (bank charges are the client's liability). |
| Payment | When your registration is confirmed, we also send you the invoice of your stay (your instalment will be deduced from the total cost of your stay)

| Cancellation - Changing | In case you need to cancel your course or you want to change your course or accomodation, you have to inform the administration of Logos by writing by fax or email.
Attention, the date of the cancellation or change taken into account is the date Logos receive the written notice, not the date you send it.
- If the cancellation occurs at least 35 days before the accomodation starts, your installment of 25% for accomodation will be refunded (bank charges are the client's liability). Only the tuition fees (forty-five euros) will not be reimbursed.
- For any later cancellation (less than 35 days before the accomodation start) or in case of non-presentation or in the absence of a written notice of cancellation, your instalment of 25% on the accomodation plus forty-five euros for tuition fees will not be reimbursed.
- A program already started has to be paid in full.
- If for any reason, the program cannot take place, you will be refunded. No further compensation will be owed by Logos.
Allowed changes
Once the course starts, you can change for another course in the following cases :
. you have chosen and started a General French Course (G20), you can change to an Intensive Course (G30), or to a Combination Course (G20 + 5 ou +10) if, of course, the course takes place or if there is a place available and you will have to pay the difference of the course price.
. you have chosen and started an Intensive French Course (G30), you can change to a French course Combination (G20 + 5 ou +10) if, of course, the course takes place or if there is a place available and you will have to pay the difference of the course price. You can also change to a General French course (G20) but in that case, there will not be any refund as for the price difference. |
| Insurance | Each student must have an insurance for illness, accident and civil liability. Those insurances are dependent on the student.
Schengen Requirements : "If you come from a country which has not signed the Schengen Treaty, you have to have a minimum health coverage of 30 000 € as well as a medical repatriation assistance and repatriation of the body to your country of origin in order to get a Visa. Any student coming to France for less than three months has to subscribe a health insurance contract."
(*) Cases of litigation will be placed in the hands of the Court of Nice for their decision. |
| | When to registrer ? | - If you want to book courses without accommodation, you can still enrol one week before the beginning of the courses. However, we recommend you to book at least 4 weeks before the course starts because places are limited during high season.
- If you want to book courses with accommodation, we highly recommend to send your booking as soon as possible because Nice is an attractive destination and specially in summer, there might be no availability for some type of accommodation.

| Your TRANSPORT on your arrival day |  At your arrival, to get to your accommodation place : you can take the bus from the airport (4 €), the bus or the tram from the station (1,30 €), the taxi (around 30 € from the airport and 20 € from the station) ; In the case of an accommodation in a host family, if you wish it, a transfer from the airport or the station can be organised from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. (transfer from the airport to the host family : 20 € and station to the host family : 10 €). |
| First day at school | You have to be at school at 9 a.m. ; The day starts by a written and oral test (a cafe, a tea or an orange juice will be served to support you !).
You will received several documents : city map, tourist brochures...
We will be at your disposal for any questions about the school, the city...
Then, you will go to the office to give two photos (one is for your student card that will give you discounts : bus, cinema, museum...)
There, you will also buy your books for the class but you can also buy them in a bookxhop down town. (cost between 20 € and 30 €). |
| Certificate |  At the end of your stay, you will receive a certificate where it will be mentioned how many hours you have studied and which level you have reached. |
| Can I borrow French books ? | | Besides the work you will do at school and your homework, you can borrow, on request, books, novels, magazines... |
| Additional information about the exams | | The students who register with the preparation for one or several exams miss the course the day of the exam. The course missed can't be replaced. |
| Few information about the host families | - To be sure that the family will be at home at your arrival or to arrange a transfer, please don't forget to communicate us your arrival details (arrival time, flight or train number) at least 3 days before your arrival date in Nice.
- If you choose "half board" or "breakfast", the family will not provide you lunch. The student is not supposed to have access to the kitchen.
- If you choose "breakfast", you might have it on your own because usually French families work. Dinner is the bet time to talk with your family.
- You have to know that the nuclear family (father, mother and children) becomes rare in France. Most of our host families are single person or divorced woman with children.
- In the general conditions we sign with our host families, laundry isn't included. However most of the families will do it for free and a few of them might ask a small contribution. Furthermore, there are laundries everywhere.
- Your accommodation is booked for the whole duration of your stay. Any change must be carefully considered and be justified.
- In the same way, we book your accommodation according to the duration you mentioned in your application form. In case of anticipated departure, no refund can be got.

| Internet | | The school is equipped with a Wireless LAN and a computer is on free access for the student (you can also bring your own). |
| Weather forecast | | The weather in Nice is quite humid. In winter : 10° to 15° C. In summer : 25° to 30° C. |
| Activities | In order to improve your French knowledge with out-of-school activities, the school proposes you :
- a film with subtitles in French, once a week,
- games : funny when it rains (it happens some times ...)
- picnic, restaurants
- excursions (minimum 5 participants)
and help you to arrange your visits and small trips on the French Riviera !!!
